We are now open until 9pm every Saturday, even when Hartlepool United are playing, with very few exceptions.

Thanks to Lorna for the Rat!!
Yet more thanks to Martyn Hillier at The Butcher's Arms - click here - for giving me the idea for starting the RRA!
If you're in the vicinity of Newark-on-Trent and you need a Micropub fix, why not visit Just Beer?
Or if you're in Ramsgate and need a beer in a Micropub, there's always The Conqueror!
And finally on Micropubs - As I can't keep up with all the new openings across the country, the best examples are all members of the Micropub Association
For those planning a food and drink trip further afield, the Rat heartily recommends visiting De Paterstafel at Watouplein 14, 8978 Watou, Belgium, for great food (Mike - the menu isn't in English!), excellent Belgian beer and a good night's sleep - and Watou is a great place to visit for BEER!
